John Creuzot - Democrat for District Attorney

https://www.texastribune.org/2019/05/21/dallas-district-attorney-john-cruezot-not-prosecuting-minor-crimes/ ..... But he’s among many prosecutors turning their focus away from nonviolent offenses.

https://theaustinbulldog.org/do-austin-police-investigate-property-crimes/ ........ Under a budget amendment initiated by Council Member Greg Casar last August, the city ended plate reader contracts worth about $114,000 and reinvested that money in social services

Sometimes some context and additional information helps. Amazing how all of this happens in Democrat controlled cities/counties, aint’ it?

Yes indeedy. Below is the sort of sign that will greet you at business establishments around Austin TX. Thought I'd never see anything like that in 21st century USA but here we are. Even though we have rough criminal problems in my locale far from that place, they tread more lightly since they have no sympathetic government to have their backs around here.
