"From the story: "Prosecutors said Lovelace had previously penned social media posts threatening violence against police and killing a former president, as well as his parents and taking his own life."
The story doesn't clarify whether this guy is a Rittenhouse supporter or a lefty angered by the verdict. It is odd that the story mentioned the perp spoke of killing "a former president" but did not specify WHICH president. Why leave that out? Are the media trying to make a Rittenhouse hater sound like a Rittenhouse supporter? His comment about school shootings makes it sound like he thinks the Rittenhouse verdict gave people a license to shoot-up schools, so he was going to do it himself. But why? Was he emulating Rittenhouse, or mocking the verdict?

“..a former president, “
It was Trump. He threatened to kill Trump. Because he’s a leftist.
The truth had been spoken by omission.
He did it in -response- not -in honor-.
