About 34,000 students have not yet complied with the COVID-19 vaccine mandate in the Los Angeles Unified School District — and there’s no longer enough time for students who have not gotten their first shot to be fully vaccinated by the Jan. 10 start of the second semester, portending significant disruption to their education as they will be barred from campus.

KEYWORDS:
The high number of students who will not be able to meet the full inoculation deadline is likely to force difficult decisions on leaders of the nation’s second-largest school system, which has enacted among the strictest vaccine mandates in the nation.

Rich kids, probably most White and Asian kids are vaccinated. Poor Black and Hispanic kids probably not. Need to revisit Brown vs Board of Education. Through the school administrators out or into jail

Their education was ‘disrupted’ the moment their parents sent them to government schools.

“Students who are not fully vaccinated ... will have to leave the Los Angeles public school system.”

Obviously not going to happen.

So this means they’ll be denied access to college level crayons and coloring books?

The high number of students who will not be able to meet the full inoculation deadline.

The high number of students who will not be able to meet the full indoctrination deadline.

They don't know what a great favor has been done for them.

They have a chance to be free from the Government Gulags.

No because there are no standards necessary for admission to California UC or state colleges.

Hope the kids stay out long enough for the District to lose Federal matching dollars.

What does GMTA mean? I’ve been around FR for a few years, but this is the first time I’ve seen that acronym.

Better yet, kick them out and see the disruption of the education facility when the tuition money stops.

portending significant disruption to their education as they will be barred from campus.

And what are they gonna do when half these 'barred' kids get dropped off in the morning anyway? Are they gonna drive thousands of kids back to their houses, and just leave them on the front porch? Or just let them go to class anyway and ignore the diktats?

I don’t have exact figures but California schools receive approximately $40 - $50 per day per student (per daily attendance which is why they have roll call every morning and require a doctor’s note for missing class). 34,000 students not attending classes x $50 per day is $1.7 MILLION DOLLARS!

Home schooling or sending your kids to private school is how we defeat these Communist grifters and take back our education system. Simply starve the Beast and watch it whither.
