A bus driver was badly beaten by a group of teenagers on Saturday night and the entire attack was captured on cell phone video (video below).
Chicago police said the incident occurred at about 9 p.m. on Dec. 4 in the 100-block of North Michigan Avenue, WMAQ reported.
The driver told police that he heard a loud noise and stopped to investigate.
But police said that when the driver got out of the bus, he was attacked by two people, WMAQ reported.
Officials said that two individuals repeatedly punched the bus driver in the head.
Cell phone video filmed by others at the scene showed a group of teens who hurled the driver into some others and then grabbed him and began beating on him.
The video showed the driver was taken to the ground on his back on the pavement amidst a chaotic scene and a teenage boy loomed over him, repeatedly hitting him in the head as he tried to protect his face.
The driver continued to try to get up, the video showed.
But more than once when he got to his feet, he was knocked to the ground again by a teenager.
The video ended just as Chicago police were arriving on the scene.
The bus driver was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in “fair condition,” WMAQ reported.
Officials said the driver had sustained bruises on his face and his body.
Police said a 15-year-old boy involved in the attack was arrested soon afterwards, WMAQ reported.
The teen has been charged with a felony count of aggravated battery of a transit employee and disorderly conduct in connection with the attack on the bus driver.
The attack came less than a week after a train operator was attacked in Chicago, WMAQ reported.
The 62-year-old woman was badly beaten by two teenage girls on Dec. 1 while the train was stalled near Garfield Station.
Jack Posobiec is right. Get out of cities. Now. There is little chance that democrats will fix the systemic problems so therefore there is little security for law-abiding citizens and commerce.
Just seems inevitable that the next step is for pre-teens to start brutally attacking bus drivers in Chicago.
I have no more sympathy for these lib cities. You want violence and chaos and you vote for it you suffer the consequences. I will never visit but it is all on you. You know how to stop this but choose to ignore it. I really do not want to hear about it anymore. Don’t come whining to me when bad stuff happens if you vote for it.

Over twenty years ago I had a number of business trips in Chicago and always enjoyed my stay. I was out late and night often enough on those trips, never encountering an incident or having any problem of my own. Not likely to do that today.

Amazing how the word “teens” is used to obscure reality.
This is the natural result of what the dems have been doing. They have been attacking the police and blaming them for crime. Last year they organized, planned and implemented theft, arson, assault and murder, and then gave material and moral support to the criminals.
This year they allowed shoplifting.
They are 100% responsible for the crime wave.
They sound like screeching hyenas.
You can take the hyenas out of Africa, but you can’t change the hyenas.
