California was the coolest place on earth...until the communists arrived and destroyed it.
That's what people tell me.
I went there (to LA) on several business trips -
but never lived there, or vacationed there, or went
exploring the place. You know - just hop in the truck
and head off in a rough direction with some old-fashioned
paper maps. (Like I did in so many other states / regions
of the country.)
No way I'd want to live there now - and I'm kind of hesitant
about a vacation trip there now also, to tell the truth.
