The American system is great in many ways. But the Senate’s makeup and the existence of the Electoral College promote inequality.

3. On top of their built-in edge, Republicans are willing to cheat.
They tried to overturn the last presidential election based on zero evidence of significant fraud.
Just a lot of sworn testimony, a forensic audit, statistical anomalies that are impossible to explain without concluding that there was significant fraud. The last election was overturned. Trump really did win.
4. Criminals often get away with it.
Don’t count on the courts to stop Republican criminals.
The only way is by having show trials with pre-drawn conclusions. Mostly peaceful demonstrators are being persecuted just for throwing firebombs and frozen water bottles at police. Oh, neve mind.

1. “Majority rules” is a myth.
A recent poll showed only 26% of Americans consider themselves Republicans. Obviously, more Americans lean that way, but the GOP hasn’t won a plurality in a national election since 2004.
Read Federalist Papers AND the constitution, you twit! Read Ben Franklin! Two wolves and a sheep deciding what to have for lunch is an example of majority rule. Lynch mobs are an example of majority rule. Ancient Athens was an example of majority rule. Majority rule is not even democracy, let alone the republican form of government.
The Dems idea of “democracy” is “Give us Barabbas!”.
One party rule has worked spectacularly well in places like the Republic of Cuba, the People’s Republic of China, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Why wouldn’t it work just as well in the United Socialist States of Amerika?
