The easy solution is to let the NATO do what it is desgined to do. Let the Poles and the Germans position their troops in Ukraine as the trip wire to WWIII for a few months and let the russians army burn equipment and men on nothing more than sitting in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.

Keep in mind that an invasion does not necessarily mean taking over the entire country. For example, Russia might just want everything east of the Dnieper River. In which case, evacuees would not have to be flown anywhere. The USA is full enough.

Worked well in Afghanistan. I’m sure Putin is quaking in his boots.
