My 15 year old grandson is turning into a motor head. He bought a 1974 Ford 250 recently, still can’t drive yet, but he is rebuilding it. He learned to rebuild a carburetor, bought another junker truck for the axle and scrubbed and rebuilt the motor. He is home schooled so has time everyday to work on his project.
He loves to tell us all, that when the “EMP” hits and we are all dead in the water with our new cars, he will be coming over to pick us up.

You can get Ford parts from LMC Truck and another company I forgot.

Google a part you are looking for with 1978 Ford 250 and see the catalogs.

I guess its a V8 automatic but there are V8 and straight 6 motors also 2wd with manual.

I replaced the 3 on the T with a 4 speed overdrive manual floor mounted gearbox.

Also rebuilt the gauge console with a new plastic gauge mounting....I had a supply of parts from about 15 years ago when I first brought the truck.

Also rebuilt all the steering linkages and new shocks....runs great.
