It would be leaving too much money on the table for me. There’s a pension involved. The difference between punching out at 63 and punching out at 66 is about $1k a month.

If that $1k/mo. is a deal-breaker (meaning you cannot live the life you want without it) then sounds like 66 is your goal.

If you can still accomplish what you want without it, why not go sooner while you still have your health and can enjoy life?

How much is enough? That's the question I had to ask myself.

Even if I have to minimize a few things here or there, I'm going early while I'm still mobile and can enjoy life. Sure some things will be simplified a bit but still, going to be worth it, IMO.
