Former Sen. David Perdue (R-GA) is expected to announce on Monday that he is running for governor of Georgia in 2022, according to multiple reports.
Perdue will seek to unseat incumbent Gov. Brian Kemp (R) in the primary, and, should Perdue win the primary, he would compete with the leading Democrat contender, activist Stacey Abrams.

If conservatives in GA want to improve their chances of getting someone MAGA as gov, they ought to find and run a Donald Dem in the ‘Rat primary.

Georgia Republicans seem to never learn. Gonna have a big primary fight, piss off a bunch of folks. Meanwhile, Georgia Democrats will consolidate behind Stacey Abrams and she will likely win.

So … gap tooth has the advantage on dual ends , 1 in that the steal is still real and 2 is that the old rino fold is being banked . All that’s needed is for a yet to apparate ross perot shill to scatter the so called fencers.
Currently, a race between Kemp and Vernon Jones. The other two are ‘unknowns’. I think Perdue’s job is to ensure a split...leading to a run-off between Kemp/Perdue. If you draw between the three...they are all RINOs or former Democrats.
Against them? Stacey Abrams. If she wins...pretty high odds in 2024 that she’ll put herself up for the Presidential primary.

Reading the comments of the nay-sayers and boo-birds on this thread, I do not see a hell of a lot of future for conservatives in this country.
You are world-class pessimists, focusing your efforts on pointing out the past failures and lack of a future for anyone.
I guess that this thread and this forum allows you all an outlet for your negativity, thus protecting society in general, and small animals in particular.

Perdue would be much, much better than Kemp.
Although, I do not see a lot of excitement from the base to go out an vote for him. Perdue is a very bland candidate.
The problem is, can Vernon Jones beat the Abrams Tank?
Big question, will Georgia’s new election laws end Abrams efforts at theft? If not, Georgia will be NJ by 2023.
Like he wasn’t crappy enough as a senator. 🙄
