Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci responded to Sen. Ron Johnson’s (R-WI) claim he was overhyping the coronavirus pandemic.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Republican Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin said this week that you have been using coronavirus to keep Americans in fear and maintain control. Take a listen.”

Another bit of a disappointing day ... Fauci still breathes.
Fauci is a pathetic puppet. Either he tows the Biden cabal’s political narrative or he knows the commissars at the corrupt Department of Justice will indict and arrest him for lying under oath to Congress and funding gain of function research.
I’m liking Ron more and more.
He is usually one of the good guys.
I am heartened to finally see Fauci on the defensive in almost every appearance. The media is asking him constantly about questions or criticisms from his detractors and he is proving to be as thin-skinned as you would imagine a 40 year bureaucrat used to having his butt kissed would be.
I firmly believe the Biden administration will get rid of Fauci in a failed effort to bring up their poll numbers on Covid. Fauci is going to learn that the left disposes of its heroes quickly when it serves their interest. He is on borrowed time.
Forget the media hype about Fauci. He has failed miserably and more people are beginning to notice. The US has posted the worst results for Covid of any nation (per capita). He has contradicted himself repeatedly and is doubling down again on failed policies that everyone can see have failed. He has denied early treatment, therapeutics, and has not even bothered to tell the public about nutritional supplements that are clearly effective (vit D, vit C, quercetin, and zinc).
Who do you think will take the hit for this? Biden? Ha. Ron Klain will jettison Fauci like last weeks leftovers when it will benefit Biden.
I would not call him a pathetic puppet. He made himself the face of this... the God of Covid if you will. He is the agent of big pharma and he has done their bidding well. He was a foil against Trump.
Fauci miscalculated. They will blame him for Biden’s failure to gain control over the pandemic. It’s the classic bureaucrat play to protect the King. We listened to our expert and HE failed, not us.

Fauci cannot hold his arguments when he’s in front of a senate hearing so he goes on leftist media to attack those who question his shoddy history.
Dr Fauci commissioned the creation of the virus with his Gain Of Function research funds. It’s only appropriate that Dr Fauci will be a strong proponent of its spread.
What is preposterous is having an unelected person with money connections to Pharma dictating medical policy to Americans.
