And I explained here why I do not think this was a false flag, unlike apparently most of the others on that thread.

Yes, there are a lot of Leftist's who use the term, but also some very well known rightists, too.

The right-wing party of Marie LePen (who was runner up in the race for PM against Macron in the last election) was known for many years as the National Front.

In France, possibly in reaction to Macron's party which is named "The March" the National Front renamed itself the "National Rally" party.

Things are moving in an interesting direction in France: the FN (as it was known, because the French do noun-adjective backwards) was the ultimate Boogie Man of French politics. Too far right to ever be included in a coalition. Marie LePen tried to soften their image, including kicking her own father out of the party, based on his past anti-Semitism.

But now, there is an even further right candidate who has seemingly replaced Marie LePen as the leading alternative to Macron in the upcoming election. He is a journalist who is sometimes described as the "Tucker Carlson of France".

I mention this because most people here on FR don't seem at all familiar with the French "New Right", but these are the people who in large part influenced and inspired the Alt-RIght, which is what these protesters are a spin-off of. So, actually, it's not all all surprising that they are using a name that evokes the European and French "New Right".

Yeah sorry not buying it for one second. Take a look at this video in the link below When they were all getting in the back of the Uhual, which is 100% illeagal, right in front of police. They were attacked and guess what? They went in riot control formation to the van... could not be more obvious. Haha!
