There have been 48 shootings so far this year on K-12 campuses, 32 of which occurred since Aug. 1” How many ON campuses by students against students during school? Many occur at night between criminals, e.g., drug deals.

Heard a man interviewed a couple of years ago. He mentioned some categories included in the "school shootings" statistics.

Said two adult guys shooting at each other from cars on the street near the school, with one or more bullets going across the campus line, or ricocheting there, counts as "a school shooting."

I remember reading/hearing about that too. Pretty low bar for what constitutes that statistic. Firing off a cap pistol probably qualifies too.
