Real income growth is now negative. Inflation is a tax on everyone, including the poor and middle class.
I wonder if there are still any people in Zimbabwe or Venezuela (besides the ruling class) who thinks they are better off now having "more" money?

True but the real impact is twofold: (1) inflation eroding the value of your money and (2) paying taxes on the money that’s left. Its a double whammy.
