It’s his only possible defense, to bamboozle a jury of non-shooters about the inherent danger of SA revolvers.
Of course it’s 100% his fault, as producer (overall responsible for hiring, safety etc) and as the person who picked up and fired the gun.
But the “dangerous gun design” is his only chance of acquittal. The prosecution will need to bring in experts who can make it all clear to the jury.
