Golda Meir wasn’t Prime Minister of Israel in 1967. Why is that buried way down in the story and not in the first paragraph?
Any story where Trump would have made such an easily disproven claim would be front page news for weeks and brought up in every single news story with any Republican officeholder demanding that they disavow the falsehood. Hell, they didn’t even wait to see if claims would be disproven, they’d just demand any Republican go on the record to say something bad about Trump no matter what the story.
Biden did, a month prior to the Yom Kippur war, visit with Meir as a newly minted senator, where he started his long career of advocating for the dumbest possible solution to foreign policy conflicts when he suggested the Israelis preemptively surrender to the Arabs.
Might be a bit of a stretch as Joe wasn’t elected to the senate until 1972 and the six day war happened in 1967. In 1967 he got married. Maybe that’s the war he means.

1973 was the Yom Kippur War. Nixon was president and Henry Kissinger was handling foreign policy. There is no way Biden was involved at all. The Six Day War was in 1967... and as was said, Biden was still in school.

Listening to Biden’s speeches is like watching a man well deserving of a rest home where his fake stories might be appreciated. My gosh he’s awful spouting his re-runs.
