Gov. Kathy Hochul of New York said on Thursday that everyone who attended a recent anime convention in Manhattan should get tested for the coronavirus, after an individual who tested positive for the Omicron variant in Minnesota recently traveled to the conference.
Ms. Hochul said the individual, a Minnesota resident who was vaccinated and suffered mild symptoms, had attended the Anime NYC 2021 convention at the Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan. She urged people who attended the event, which was held from Nov. 19 to Nov. 21, to get tested and said that health officials would be in contact with attendees. The convention hosted 53,000 attendees over three days, according to a spokesman for the Javits Center.
“We do anticipate there’ll be more cases,” Ms. Hochul said. “This is not cause for alarm; it was foreseen ever since it was first reported out of South Africa, that we knew it would come to New York State at some point.”
Much remains unknown about Omicron, including whether it is more transmissible and capable of causing more serious illness. People had to be vaccinated with at least one dose and wear masks to attend the conference.

Looks to me like the vast majority of attendees were muzzled.
So much for muzzles and the vaxxes working.
Of course it is coming from MN. There are tons of Africans in the large cities. This has been here a while because the CDC only samples a few hundred tests for variants every day/week/month (I’m not sure what the frequency is but it isn’t statistically significant enough in my opinion). If they can sample the few vs. the many and still find it, then it’s a strong likelihood that it is much more widespread and has been here a while.

They need to wear masks over their masks, like Furries.
There’s these signs around town that say beat the virus, wear a mask, trust the vaccine. If you trust the vaccine you should not need a mask. If the vaccine works you should be part of the herd immunity. Speaking of herd immunity, first it was 50%, then 60, 66, 75 and probably 90. I think we are 65% “fully vaccinated” yet Covid is still a pandemic. I said from the beginning, they never had this much power before and they aren’t going to give it up that easily.
Quarantine NYC immediately, it’s the only way to be sure. Then, we can send everyone who refuses the jab there too. Just like Escape from New York.

What we should be worried about are the hoards of untested or health screened illegals from all over the world pouring over our border and being transported in the dead of night by the Biden administration to destinations all over the country. Imagine one or more of the illegals are infected with TB or worse still Ebola or Marburg Fever. So far this latest variant appears to have mild and not life threatening symptoms. Yet Fauci and the purveyors of COVID panic are again whipping up hhysteria. If illegals were spreading TB or Ebola would the media and Fauci even notice?
