CNN is going to have a new sheriff in town soon. John Malone. From the sound of it......he’s a ratings number news guy and if the ratings aren’t there......Fredo is gone, Lemon is gone.....the whole place is gone. Jeff Zucker in one evil MOFO allowing CNN to spew their lies and trash.
Hopefully he’s gone too and CNN goes back to hard news.
Except CNN has the lucrative cable, satellite, and airport rights. So they get paid no matter what the talent brings on on AD revenue.
CNN ratings are terrible. They have shifted slightly toward the center, they will leave the far, far left to MSNBC.
Mr. Malone is 80 years old. He will likely remain actively engaged in the management of this network for as long as he can, but if for any reason he has to delegate that authority,
one hopes he will have built a team of support, ready to continue his vision of what the News should be.
