Tasers are carried direct opposite of handgun so it’s hard for me to believe she, a veteran officer, wouldn’t know the difference. And surely they have a safety of some sort on the taser that would have alerted her that it’s absense meant she was holding her handgun. But having considered this she did seem genuinely surprised that she had fired her handgun and not the taser as she intended. Tragic accident, no premeditation. Moral to story? Don’t put yourself in a position where a nervous cop feels threatened enough to pull a weapon.
Don’t have women cops is the real lesson but can’t say that.
Just wait until they start drafting women into the military.
