If I weren’t married, I would leave this blue state in a minute. And I wouldn’t be carrying one iota of the crap I see here, I can assure you.
As it stands, my wife is not inclined to leave, which means I won’t be leaving either. If she goes before me...I’m gone. If I go before her, well, I hope I will be where I want to go anyway.
Where she goes, I must go. A vow is a vow.
Reminds me of Ruth in the Bible. And that’s good. She said the same thing....I will go where you will go, your people will be my people.....commendable on your part. Good man.

Yup. A vow is a vow. But there is nothing in the mean time that prevents you from helping or encouraging others to migrate. I’ve noticed that wives are persuadable over time. Especially when friends other than their husbands are saying the same thing. 😁
I have always told my wife where we were going to live, but we are an exception to the rule. She can leave any time.
