Not disputing the conservative aspect, just that it took a long time for the party change.
Military? They active duty members can go with their home state if they secede. Issuing new currency is a snap, hopefully gold backed to some degree. What you see as problems I See as marvelous opportunity to make things right.
Texas was a solid dem state and started changing when i was a kid
West Virginia. Also, Iowa was once very purple/blue-leaning. Not so much anymore…
I remember when retired lefty senator Howard Metzenbaum left Ohio for Florida to croak without paying the state death tax.
Blue staters having been moving to Florida for decades. Florida remains red and was even more red in 2020 than it was in 2000 for example.
U-Haul says there is a waiting list of people who can’t wait to move to NJ. /s
Actually, if you count the Fed midnight drops of border-invaders and unvetted Afghans, the Blue State populations may also be increasing.
I am moving back to Texas after 10 years in Minnesota, leaving Minnesota a little bluer and Texas a little redder :-) Can’t wait to be home!
>>>The big problem is that The Left has used the Federal system to Nationalize everything they want, when and as they want it, while simultaneously blocking any attempts so rescind any overreach.>>>
The Republicans had a golden opportunity to make some drastic changes during Trump’s first 24 months when they controlled everything.....and they didn’t do squat. Shame on them....They may get another chance and they better do big things.
Well you gained valuable experience up North.
I always say when TSHTF and it requires a LOT of labor to keep warm in the winter, the Entitlement Army will head south.
Then you’ll be capable of going the other direction.
I can see that. I can easily see the country breaking up.
>>>I belong to a “moving” page on fb. The number of people posting they’re moving to Florida is mind blowing. The majority are coming from the north/NE and CA, and the main reason given is “freedom”>>>
Same with Texas. Florida, Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina..etc. gonna be redder then a firetruck soon. And that’s good.
Our Civil war became real when it became regional. I think if we looked throughout history most civil wars are.................

Have you been talking to my ex-wife?
Anyway, I am an expert in many things (I’ve taught courses in quantum mechanics, for example). But I freely admit that I’m often wrong. So I normally appreciate it when folks correct me. That way I learn something!
But I stop reading when a post starts with a personal insult, like the one above.
>>>>You don’t seem to know much do you?
The entire south, including Alabama, Mississippi etc were solidly Democrat before, when they instituted Jim Crow laws etc.
Today they are getting clobbered in the south.
. But I’m just calling it as I’m seeing it.)
No you are not. You are pushing Dem talking points and far left propaganda.>>>>
Exactly...well said!
You say you’re often wrong in quantum mechanics? You’re in very good company!
Thanks for those blue-to-red examples. I guess there’s hope yet!
>>>I am moving back to Texas after 10 years in Minnesota, leaving Minnesota a little bluer and Texas a little redder :-) Can’t wait to be home!>>>>
Awesome....you’re going to love it. Welcome home and back to America. What part of Texas?
> You say you’re often wrong in quantum mechanics? <
I meant to say I’m often wrong about politics. I’ve had many arguments with Einstein’s ghost about quantum mechanics. So far I think I’ve got the upper hand!
