The lady on trial had a pilot's license and supposedly a submariner's license. That Joe Biden liked to vacation on Water Island, which has a lot of room to park your submarine, is probably just a coincidence.

Water Island is a small Island on the south side of St. Thomas, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The island has its own source of fresh water and so has been relatively strategic since the pirate days.
The island has mostly remained out of the news for most of its existence until relatively recently. However, in a Politico article published January 28, 2020, author Ben Schreckinger revisited a possibly “less-than-arms-length” deal between Joe Biden’s brother James Biden, and lobbyist Scott Green. As the Politco article details,
“In 2005, Joe Biden’s brother bought an acre of land with excellent ocean views on a remote island in the Caribbean for $150,000. He divided it into three parcels, and the next year a lobbyist close to the Delaware senator bought one of the parcels for what had been the cost of the entire property. Later, the lobbyist gave Biden’s brother a mortgage loan on the remaining parcels.”
Water Island Factoids
- A popular destination for thirsty pirates (it has water.)
- WWII Submarine Base.
- Biological weapons labs about 1944 to 1951.
- Monkeys moved to Dugway in Utah.
- Dr. Lawrence Layton (Jonestown Fame) was the first Director at the new Dugway facility.
- NY Banker (Walter Phillips) acquires Master Lease in Sweetheart deal and makes the Island into a tourist destination.
- Joe Biden vacationed there as VP. (Minor shady land deals for distraction.)
Much more about Water Island here.

If I had a girlfriend who owned a submarine, I’d sure as hell get qualified to pilot it.

Ahh, yes. Where has Joe Biden been parking his submarine? We know where Hunter has been parking his. We have his laptop.
Impeach 46.

I lived n St Thomas from 1959 to 1968. Water Island didn’t have a sub base, the sb base was on St Thomas across from Water Isand. Water Island had a lot of fish folks living there. There was a ferry from the sub base to water Isalnd that ran across a few times a day. I went over there a few times and wondered around. There were a couple of nice swimming spots and a big square rock people used to dive off.

Heh, it tickled my memory, and I was going to ask if you were on the USS Grunion, but...when I looked it up, that would be an awkward question!

Let’s compromise with mini-sub. The visual works better.
