Two weeks ago, a bunch of my Facebook friends were going to meet at the Tam o'Shanter, a famous restaurant in the Los Feliz neighborhood in LA. However, someone checked into their WuFlu policy and noted that they require either a vaccine card or a cell phone photo of both sides of the card. In addition, you must wear a mask unless you're eating or drinking.
So they lost a bunch of customers--perhaps the Section 8 crowd will make up for their loss. We switched our meeting place to Shenanigan's Irish Pub & Grill in Long Beach, and were glad that we did--no mask or vaxx requirement and excellent food. I recommend it for patriots living west of the Orange Curtain (Orange County line).
I was out there in Orange County, San Diego County, and LA in September. Fortunately I never had a single person ask me about status, or mask. I even went to the Chargers game (they lost against the Cowboys) - and not a single security or LASD deputy asked, or even hinted. I talked with a couple of them regarding their duty weapon (I AM from Texas, after all), and if they enjoy the extra duty of working games, etc.
Long Beach City Council apparently has not decided to follow the example of LA City Council yet...By the way, Long Beach has its own health department...That department usually follows what LA County Health Dept does... Long Beach actually does have indoor masking mandate...That Long Beach restaurant should have informed you that you should wear mask when not eating...
Some people may decide to go to Orange County...To go to some restaurant or bar...Orange County does not have an idiotic health department like Los Angeles County...
