After the Soviet Union broke up, we got Ukraine to give up their nuclear weapons by guaranteeing their sovereignty.

Well, that deal includes spilling American blood.

I, for one, would prefer Ukraine to still have nuclear weapons.

Thanks for the info. Found this article from 2014...updated in 2017. Surprisingly, it was published on The Huffington Post:
