We are witnessing the collapse of western civilization before our eyes. The rule of law has been politicized so it is no longer fair, just or even handed. Barbarians are turned loose by the system to wreak havoc on average citizens with no consequences. The media, academia, religious leaders, judges and politicians cheer on and enable the madness. Now the military has gone full woke and perceives domestic white privilege to be a greater threat to security than rapidly arming Russia and China.
We are told, just wait until 2022 when the Republicans will recapture the House and Senate and they will end the madness. However, history shows the Republicans have never rolled back even the most outrageous legislation passed by Democrats nor do the have the appetite and backbone to take on the leftists directly and forcefully. McConnell and McCarthy are dealmakers, not warriors and Biden will gleefully wield his veto pin if Pelosi and Schumer fail to completely water down any conservative legislation in closed door meetings with McConnell and McCarthy. It is hard to envision any change even if the GOP takes control of the House and Senate.
In fact, Democrats may be looking forward to two years of the GOP leadership demonstrating they are powerless against a Democrat minority in Congress combined with a Democrat president prepared to rule by decree. When the Republicans demonstrate complete ineptness, the Dem presidential candidate in 2024 can blame the GOP Congress for the sad state of the nation.
Remember the last two Obama years when Ryan was Speaker and McConnell was Majority leader. What did the GOP accomplish?
Absolutely nothing other than keeping Merrick Garland off the Supreme Court.
They stopped a lot of Leftist wish-list legislation.
They prevented Garland from becoming a Supreme Court justice.
Paul Ryan was revealed as an "Assistant Democrat", and left office.
About another 50 "Assistant Democrats" left office as well.
They kept Merrick Garland off of the Supreme Court.
