There are Aussies and Kiwis who love freedom and those who love the CCP IMHO.

Mr. Morrison is not for the CCP but Laborites like Mark McGowan in Western Australia are.

The Solomons sold out to Beijing for money in 2019.

Hopefully the situation will change there in the coming months.

I think the people protesting against the pro-Beijing government in Solomon Islands have it right and hope Australia’s military power has a say in changing the equation away from the CCP.

Worse than McGowan is Chairman Dan Andrews of the People's Republic of Victoria. He did the highway deal with the CCP that Morrison's government overturned. There aren't many Aussies, even Labor (except for the left faction) that support the CCP. Biggest problem we have is that Morrison has been too soft and behind is the polls for the next election. The conservatives have been in power for 4 terms and there hasn't been a government that won 5 terms in Australia since Menzies left in 1966.

New Zealand is another matter, their Prime Minister is a real far leftie supporting the Commies and doing deals with them and wants them to join the 11 nation trading pact, Australia does not want them in it. Don't compare New Zealand with Australia. But Jacinda Arden is finally starting to wear thin in New Zealand, so maybe there is hope for the Kiwis.

Red China is trying to buy up ports or provide port services all over the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean. Been doing this for years.
