I attended some small group education sessions at my university before I retired, each year on MLK Day. One young black woman professor wrote those words on a white board.
"During Dr. King's lifetime that would have been accepted as true. Today it is not. It neglects to state the fact that black people should be given special rights and reparations to achieve equity. Equality would not do that."
Reparations. BS. Look at the Section 8 housing, add preference for all minorities on DOD/Government contracts. There are many more pro minority state and federal programs. I always believed that a person who wants to do something FINDS A WAY. One who does not FINDS AN EXCUSE.
