Narcotics require a hand delivered paper prescription - at least they have for more than a decade in MN.
TN is FAX for pain MD’s.
For narcotics as well?
Seems odd.
There’s been a DEA licensure needed in MN for a long time and hand delivery as stated previously.
Even through pain docs (which were ultimately useless in my case).
Only pain clinics can write narcotics month after month in TN.
They were forced to use FAX.
These Pharmacies did as MD wrote. More anti pain pill BS. Wait until these punk attorneys fall and break some bones.
Most real pain patients take at least 4 short acting narcotics. Hell, the VA had me on Oxycontin 80’s x3 a day. I hated them and sweated them out for some 3 weeks.
Didn’t doctors have to prescribed it?
Personally know a man who had a car accident. Hurt his neck and back. Doc prescribed oxy. It worked. He couldn’t get off it. It was a bit tragic what happened to him after. Got hooked on horse. He got through but it took time. It could have easily gone a different way but family gave him what he needed to walk that dark path and come out of it.
Help your family even if you don’t want to cause it sucks for you. Especially when they really need it and you can.
