Odd how 3rd world countries in Africa with low, low, low vaccination rates aren’t having a problem with covid...it’s almost like the Chinese have decided they don’t want to bother living in Africa after all... Not that the Chinese are intentionally continuing to infect people or anything...

I personally believe the answer is “Original Antigenic Sin.” In effect, the mRNA vaccine may stimulate a very specific immune response, but that response may be incorrect (and even dangerously inaccurate) if the virus has changed even slightly.
Research and facts on this will take years to come out, as mRNA vaccines are very new. In the urgency, politics and propaganda of the 2020 pandemic, I believe it was impossible to estimate or state future effects.

Just viewed a YouTube clip with a debate between Douglas Murray and Enver Solomon on illegal immigration to Great Britain.
Mr Solomon casually segued between the "need for immigrants" (whom he blithely equated with surgeons, physicists, etc.) and the "need for international cooperation to combat Global Warming" (which he seems to think is the result of human activity).
He jumped back and forth between "immigration" and "GW" so effortlessly and smoothly, I can only gain the impression that leftists view virtually every problem as essentially the same problem - which could be solved if we would only give more power to faceless and unaccountable, unelected international bureaucrats.

The Covid vaccine and boosters are the only product in the world whose failure is blamed on those who haven’t taken it.
I saw that for decades in healthcare. Not so much in the last 3 years.
I crunch our numbers weekly, we are over 80% vaccinated, 80% of our positive tests are still in the unvaccinated. All of our hospitalized patients this week are unvaccinated.
So far in November the vaccine is about 75% effective in preventing our population from getting COVID and even better at keeping people out of the hospital.
What kind of early treatments (if any) are being used?
Surely, a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, or maybe 7th booster will slow it down. Those damned unvaxxed sure are causing a lot of trouble./s
