You made think about something with your comments.
When I was younger, I wanted to be part of a clique. I was “strange”, a “nerd”, looked down on because I wasn’t “cool”. I wanted to belong to something, to be accepted, but a lot of times, rejected.
Cliques are everywhere, birds of a feather flock together, they say.
I found the greatest group, the greatest “clique” in the world- FreeRepublic.
Chris Christy is trying to be in a clique, trying to be accepted by people who consider him nothing more than a disposable tool, much like Adam Kinzinger.
Too many of those people out there, they want to appeal to everyone, and end up being rejected by everyone.
Great post. And guess what, I was a broken teen who never fit in. We have something in common!
I guess my main point with Christie was gaslighting. It’s such an evil tactic that I constantly harp on it. Toxic people use it all the time and could care less about the incredible amount of damage it causes. All that matters is winning and like you said, being a part of that political class in Christie’s case.
