Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) claimed that Democrats can only get funding for “their giveaway programs,” apparently including provisions in their roughly $2 trillion social spending and climate bill, from the middle class.
“The only place Democrats can get the money to fund all of their giveaway programs is from the middle class, because that's where the money is,” Johnson said Sunday in an interview with John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM.
Johnson claimed that even if taxes on corporations were raised, the middle class would ultimately end up shouldering the costs...
In the interview Johnson also discussed spiking inflation in the country, claiming that it would cancel out recent increases in workers' wages and social security benefits.
“I think [Democrats are] trying to explain away ... trying to tell Americans that ‘Oh, no, inflation’s good for you. No, it's not,” Johnson said....

“The only place Democrats can get the money to fund all of their giveaway programs is from the middle class”
Bingo. That’s where large quantities of money can be had. The rich won’t pay, they’ll use loopholes and accountants to hide their money or move their money out of the country, or shift costs to the middle class. The lower middle class and welfare state pay little to no money in taxes and many instead syphon funds off from the gov’t via welfare payments and monetary bribes and perks from the gov’t as long as they vote right.
So, where to get taxes from: the middle class of course. We are the real peasants, the slaves. We work so the other two classes can benefit financially. Hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to work we go. We are hitched to the outside of the wagon while the rich and poor ride in the wagon. Hope the middle class figure out their slave status sooner than later.
Democrats are clucking around like chickens with their heads cut-off stupidly telling Americans,
“Biden’s a good guy. He’s looking out for your interests.....heck, inflation’s good for you.”
Duh.
What a great setup. Get to make yourself look good by giving away other people’s stuff.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.): Democrats can only get funding from the stable,
reliable working middle class for their massive giveaway programs.

House Democrats just passed President Biden’s multi-trillion-dollar “Build Back Better” spending agenda. They’re pitching it as a historic investment in the middle and working class. So why is its second-largest provision a tax cut for the rich?
That’s right: The latest version of the Build Back Better plan includes $125 billion for healthcare subsidies and $130 billion to expand the child tax credit - yet it allocates $280 billion to fund tax relief for wealthy residents of blue states. The only item bigger than this tax relief for the rich is the funding for pre-k and childcare, which comes in at $390 billion.
At question is something called the state and local tax deduction, or SALT, for short. It essentially gives residents of high-tax (read: blue) states a discount on their fair share of federal taxes. The GOP limited the deduction as a part of its 2017 tax reform, and now the Democrats are trying to expand it again via Build Back Better.
The Democrats are attempting to spin this as “middle class tax relief,” but it actually almost exclusively benefits the rich. As the Washington Post explains, “Over the next five years, raising the SALT cap would provide a tax cut only to those who itemize their taxes and pay more than $10,000 in state and local taxes - a group overwhelmingly made up of the wealthy.”
According to the liberal-leaning Tax Policy Center, Americans in the bottom 40 percent of income-earners receive literally zero benefit from this change, while almost all of the benefit accrues to those earning more than $250,000 annually.

No they'll fund it the way Democrats and Republicans always fund programs. They'll borrow the money.
“IDIOCY” - Believing millionaire democrats who claim they will be taxing only themselves and other millionaires to pay for their economy-busting socialist give-away BBB bill.
Makes perfect sense that money comes from the middle class because the poor obviously don’t have it & the rich have plenty ways to pass the increases down to a different group. Of course it does hurt the poorer class as well in the form of inflation. If inflation didn’t occur, then both the middle class & poor would suffer as well. Eventually, all would suffer as there would be little manufacturing. The real answer is to shut down government spending, but that seems to be the one the thing they won’t do. If the government is paying big to get all the best & brightest people working for them, then how come they can’t understand this simple economics? It’s as evident as the nose on your face. Government is not earning it’s keep.
