You can read online that she attended services at both a Hindu temple and a Baptist church growing up, but I’m not sure it works like that. There are festivals and ceremonies and one can go to a temple if one wants, but usually there aren’t services every week. Whether she was raised as a Hindu or not and whether she was going to a Baptist church when she was growing up or not, it wasn’t hard for her to start going to a Baptist church later in life. I don’t know how often she went though.
Well her mom and dad both claimed she was a Hindu and her descent is 50% Hindu so ...
Got side tracked ... anyway her descent is from her Mom who was from Ceylon or Sri Lanka where most Tamil Hindus reside. So that makes her an Indian Tamil - not a Black, not an Asian.
