The dilemma is that even if God were to spare us now, it would only be delaying the inevitable for some other generation to deal with.
And they would wish the same thing we do.
So do we ask for a stay or just say “Come quickly, Lord Jesus!”
I’m leaning heavily towards just getting it over with.
