I owe the jurors in the Kyle Rittenhouse case a big apology. I was certain that, faced with the leftist mob's intimidation, they would find Kyle guilty. Instead, based upon overwhelming evidence that Kyle acted in self-defense, they acquitted him on all charges. The video of Kyle's reaction to hearing the verdict is extremely moving:
This is a young man who had good reason to believe that he would spend a large part of his life in prison, either dodging those who wished to kill him or living in solitary confinement to avoid his would-be killers.
The verdict was certainly the correct one. Shorn of propaganda, the undisputed background facts and those developed during the trial were clear. On August 23, 2020, a woman called the police saying that Jacob Blake, a Black man who had pending charges against him for raping her and an order to refrain from contact with her, was at her house.
When police arrived, Blake was in the process of entering the woman's SUV, in which a child was seated. The police tried to capture him, but Blake outran them. The chase ended when Blake headed for the driver's seat and grabbed a knife (something shown in a video and that he admits). A police officer deemed him an imminent threat and shot him several times. Blake survived. The officer who shot him was not charged.
Coming at the tail end of a summer of BLM/Antifa riots revolving around George Floyd's death, it was inevitable that a mob would descend. The resulting riots all but destroyed Kenosha's commercial center. As with other riots that summer, the police mostly stood down.
On the third day, Kyle went to Kenosha to fill in the gap the civil authorities had left.

You can bet that another similar case will arise in the not too distant future as long as BLM and Antifa and the Democrats exist, so, we better not forget what happened here.

Excellent summary of the Kyle Rittenhouse case.
The Rittenhouse case proves the left hates American kids. They used the same demonizing tactics on Nick Sandmann, plus they love aborting American babies...while importing foreign kids. The globalist left’s ‘great reset’ is more like a purge. I read a short article over at CanadaFreePress about a recent victim, “Teacher fired after 35 years of teaching because she would not take the vax”, so give that a look. I’d like to see groups of parents hire people like her to help them with ‘home schooling’. She is an asset being wasted! And just as Kyle was being acquitted a black guy named Coffee (no joke) was also and his situation was FAR worse (cops came and he got in gun battle with them, his girlfriend was killed by him during that and he was charged with her murder after two cops were acquitted of same). MSM covers that all up.
Babylon Bee had a story up about Nick and Kyle sharing custody of CNN. Too funny!

I hate to say it, (no really), but after the overwhelming, irrefutable video evidence, (not even mentioning testimony);
to even possibly, remotely, conceivably think that this was anything other than self defense leads me to question, no, BIGTIME deny your sanity.
I will NOT give up my guns when the alt-far-left are allowed to riot masked (don’t think the mask mandate wasn’t done before those riots on purpose because it was). The left will have to pry my guns away with THEIR cold dead hands. (I’ve never understood the saying the other way...I’m going to be the survivor)
