I hope they realize that if multiple people had done their jobs, and not loaded an actors gun with a real bullet or actually checked the gun, this accident would never have happened

And it would not matter if ANYONE would have fired that gun at that moment

Baldy’s reported reaction at the time made me wonder if the gun had a hair trigger and if he cocked it on the fake “draw.”? So far there’s been no reporting on the actual condition of the gun. I’ve examined both ends of the problem as a witness before: Shot goes off because the trigger pull was way too light and trigger pull was so heavy that there was no way the shot was accidental. I frequently get the call when there is a claim the gun was defective when local shootings happen. The gun in this case must be checked by someone who knows what he is looking at. THEN Baldy should be sued until his nose bleeds.
