What the script says is irrelevant. It hardly seems like the basis for a law suit. Probably there will be alleged trauma. Gloria is looking for more media exposure, again and again.

That stunt really pissed me off. Shouldn’t the defendant then be able to bring in someone to yell at the jury that they were going to kill them, or maybe light some fires?
Baldy’s reported reaction at the time made me wonder if the gun had a hair trigger and if he cocked it on the fake “draw.”? So far there’s been no reporting on the actual condition of the gun. I’ve examined both ends of the problem as a witness before: Shot goes off because the trigger pull was way too light and trigger pull was so heavy that there was no way the shot was accidental. I frequently get the call when there is a claim the gun was defective when local shootings happen. The gun in this case must be checked by someone who knows what he is looking at. THEN Baldy should be sued until his nose bleeds.
In this post I must confess to a MASSIVE case of schadenfreude [pleasure derived from another person’s misfortune] as this is two well-known uber-LEFTists going after each other! Gloria Allred, uber-famous as a celebrity Hollywood tort lawyer. I remember her trotting out the housekeeper for GOP Governor candidate Meg Whitman in the 2010 California Governor campaign [last moment gotcha]. Strange that we never heard again about this housekeeper after Ms Whitman lost to ‘Moonbeam’ Brown.
This is a fight where I can sit back and enjoy the popcorn while these two slice & dice!
And YES, I know that Ms Whitman came out for Biden in the 2020 election. Amazing how stupid the GOPe are, they so like their cocktail parties and schmoozing with the ‘good people’! BARF!
The more I read about this, the more I tend to agree with Sacajaweau that this was no accident. It should be investigated thoroughly and charges should be brought.

That’s incorrect. The fact that it was an unscripted action on Baldwin’s part shows that he was reckless. Even if him pointing a gun toward the camera had been part of the narrative he would still be responsible. The script issue just makes his negligence that much more pronounced.
He should’ve been arrested and charged criminally by now, or at least a grand jury should be determining if his or other’s actions were criminal.

It was never addressed whether that bullet he shot was the only bullet in the gun. There may have been more. Either way, the cylinder was cranked around so that the bullet was next to fire. That had to be deliberate, whether he did it or someone else did it. The fact is that you never point a gun at another person. You never put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to fire the gun. But he should have opened the chamber to see if it was empty when handed the gun. He violated each of these safety acts.
I believe LE are deliberately keeping info close to the vest in hopes of tripping someone up. JMO
Any bullets still in the gun should have fingerprints on them.
