Now if these are the younger people, like in England, most probably won’t die, especially if they’ve caught the new Delta AY.4.2, which is said to be more infectious but less deadly. But they are going to take up hospital beds and resources. 100K cases in 24 hours, at a 2% avg mortality rate is 2,000 dead within 30 days avg. Yesterday USA 100K cases, too. Good luck, Germany

What you can generally take from examination....from ages 1 to 59...it’s like a 99.99999 percent chance of survival. From 60 to 80...it drifts down to 95 percent chance of survival. From 80 on, it’s a 83-percent chance of survival.
To have grouped everyone into the same threat ‘bucket’ from day one....has been the wrong stance. Vitamin D levels and prior health issues also put the older crowd at a more threatening risk.
But what drives this current intense worry in the country is that some hospitals (Bavaria and around central-east regions)...are full. There is no more capacity, and they are driving new patients an hour to two hours away from their home area.
That is a deliberately odd way to express what should be a simple exact numerical fact.
Why not say - for instance - there are 9,300 infections in Saxony, and 9,000 of the infected have not been fully vaccinated.
When I see a sentence that is focused on "30X times," I instantly wonder what fact they are trying to conceal.
In any event, both Israel and England are claiming that 80% of their Delta Variant infections are in fully vaccinated persons.
