It’s become akin to a religion. You’re not going to change anyone’s mind at this point by arguing or trying to ‘reason’ with them no matter which side you’re on.
WHAT THEY ARE REALLY ‘HOPING FOR’ IS A SUPER SPREADER SITUATION SIMULTANEOUSLY ALL OVER THE COUNTRY..................
HAHAHAHAHA!
Ya, let me have the family audience to explain in one setting why there is no point in my getting vaxxed.
It does NOT protect you.
It has significant RISK.
I will treat myself if I get sick, what will YOU do?
My family and friends are exhausted hearing about it. We won’t be talking about it at Thanksgiving. Football will be the topic in my family most talked about. Big 12 and SEC fans. Go Pokes!
Oh no, I don’t want to be a “black sheep”.
I don’t want to be “ridiculed”.
I always let social pressure make my decisions for me.
Not!
At this point the commucrats couldn’t do anything to increase my distrust and hatred of the government. It’s at maximum.
Pitting family members against each other?
That should go over well.
The democrats always try to divide.
Not one case of Covid has been reported from those events, and you know the media would have been all over it had there been any.
Meanwhile...

“Invasion of the Body Snatchers”
There has never been a drumstick or scoop of stuffing worth this jazz.
Turn your holiday meal into a “Struggle Session”!
Just remember to check for weapons before you start…
“An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.”
― Robert A. Heinlein, Beyond This Horizon
Right; because getting a death clot shot is so much more preferable to being ridiculed.
Who comes up with this garbage thinking anyway?
Come back in 10 years with solid irrefutable evidence the clot shot isn’t killing tens of thousands to millions of people so far. Then we can have that conversation.
It’s pretty much an un-spoken rule that no-one really wants to talk about it - especially since we lost a family last month a couple days after a booster shot. Any “Vax Covidians” wishing to evangelize over dinner will simply find the subject change rather quickly, else they won’t show up on in the first place.
But if those in power ‘think’ they ‘know’ what families will be discussing over Thanksgiving, good - let them continue with their arrogance.
Here’s what the family discussion may (and in my opinion SHOULD) be about:
What to do if/when the economy collapses. You see, you can poll people all you want, but everyone sees the gas price at the pump, hyperinflation at the supermarket’s meat section, and items missing from the shelves.
In our family, this translates into a changing gift-giving strategy this year (e.g. among the gifts to our adult children this year: deep freezers) . You get the drift.
I suggest meeting with family to take this opportunity to talk in a realistic fashion on what the future may bring, and take steps to prepare and engage in it.
That is all.

Blah, blah, blah … just ain’t scared of ridicule and anger from the “properly vaccinated”, but thanks for playing.
As a parting gift, allow me to offer some Psalms 23:4 for perpetual aid and comfort in times of inner and outer distress:
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”All is well. Carry on.
