.....Youngkin has previously called himself a “staunch supporter” of the COVID-19 vaccines, despite the fact that the experimental injections do not prevent the transmission of coronavirus, contrary to what was initially advertised by the federal government, major pharmaceutical companies, international bodies, and even President Joe Biden himself.

“My family has gotten it. I’ve gotten it. I think it’s the best way for people to protect themselves,” Youngkin said.

So once again why should we vote ‘R’ in 2022? Worthless sack of crap!

I mean, they do limit transmission.

And nobody ever said a vaccine would do anything for transmission directly — all a vaccine can do is modify how your body fights a virus once you are exposed to it.

The vaccine improves your defenses. That helps minimize the amount of virus you could expel, and lessens the time period over which you might spread it.

But vaccines mostly are about helping your body FIGHT an infection, and the vaccines do that very well, severely limiting hospitalization and death in vaccinated people who are exposed to COVID.

And it is experimental; this is partly why a booster may be needed, as we didn’t have years perfecting the initial vaccination. Some believe if we had done one dose, and a second dose a few months later, it would have worked as well as a 2-dose initial set with a booster 8 months later.

We’ll probably never know.

Meanwhile, the real fight is to get people to get back to science, which says if you get vaccinated, you can go back to living your life, confident that the risk of COVID is no more than the risk of any general illness like the flu or a bad cold.
