McAwful was going to add vaccines to the school list for public and private schools. Virginia’s school vaccine statute doesn’t have a religious exemption either during a “declared public health emergency.”

Youngkin is not going to mandate anything.

If a local school goes rogue parents can remove the school boards (most are elected) and/or move their kids to private school.

That option wouldn’t have existed under McAwful. Not to mention there absolutely would have been an “assault weapon” ban put into place by McAwful.

The idiotic, brain dead idiots who think there “is no difference” are either trolling or mentally challenged.

Agree, this is much better and will give people an option. Which will put pressure on school boards to not mandate. I’m going to be optimistic with Youngkin. He’s much better than McAuliffe, at least we are hopeful he will be. This is not what many would have preferred, but it is a positive move.
