Oh my God. This will be the first winter storm to ever hit the Upper Midwest in late November. I should have known something was wrong when the leaves started withering away and falling from all of my hardwood trees back in October!
I remember a Thanksgiving here in Central Pa about 50 years ago, give or take, when we had a big winter storm. Lots of snow and power outages but the family still celebrated Thanksgiving. My grandmother cooked everything in their camper with propane. I can only recall one or two times since when we had snow on Thanksgiving, got me out of a trip to the in-laws.
