I don’t know if I have ever seen people, some of whom are my family and friends, so wedded to the lies they have been told they are unable to recognize the truth. The past couple of weeks we have seen a handful of events in the news that are proof of my stated premise. It is just astounding to watch.
Kyle Rittenhouse Trial
At this writing, the verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse murder trial has not been rendered, so the defendant is still in serious legal jeopardy and the jury could find him guilty. Within the past week, however, we have seen an incredible turn of events that has brought out an increased level of vitriol and fervor from those who favor a guilty verdict. This is increasingly concerning because a large portion of the U.S. population cares nothing about the Constitutional rights of every citizen accused of a crime; that one is innocent until proven guilty; and that guilt must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
As a casual observer of the trial’s progress and witness testimony, I had taken notice that the prosecution was not doing a stellar job. However, what truly grabbed my attention was that a star prosecution witness, Gaige Grosskreutz, was forced to admit under oath that he did indeed advance toward and threaten Kyle Rittenhouse’s life by pointing his illegal handgun at him. Rittenhouse responded to the threat of bodily harm and shot Grosskreutz in the bicep.
Out of curiosity, I wanted to see how state-controlled media would respond to the devasting cross-examination testimony, so I watched “NBC Nightly News.” In predictable but nonetheless gobsmacking bias, Lester Holt dutifully ignored Grosskruetz’s testimony that he had pointed his handgun at Rittenhouse. To be a leftist in America today one has to be brain damaged in some way. Whether that is from years of brainwashing indoctrination or some kind of physical brain injury; the end result is a brain unable to function normally. I have yet to meet a single leftist who was able to see or understand the truth or reality. They have some kind of mental block secondary to their brain damage. I have yet to meet one who is sane or relatively normal.
Jesus said “Seek the truth and the truth shall set you free “. The Left doesn’t want to be free. They love being Satan’s slave.
Misanthropy is the general hatred, dislike, distrust or contempt of the human species. This seems to be what most leftists believe and it is why they do what they do. It is like a religious belief. Understand this and the leftist's actions will make much more sense.
As in the George Floyd case—those supporting the idea that the cops killed him because he was black are fed a trough of lies and they refuse to believe anything else.
The left is a cult.
Their followers will do and believe whatever the cult leaders tell them to do and believe....mostly without question.
