"Are Democrats Looking to the Lifeboats?"
Would like to think so, but I'm sure they're counting on RINOs to save their butts.
But in the case the wave does hit, and is MAGA dominated, I'd like to be able to say " No, no lifeboats this time. You pushed for war, well now you got one."

Exactly. Dems are in damn the torpedoes full speed ahead mode. They know full well that McCarthy will fund whatever they pass should they lose the House. The Green New Deal is Obamacare all over again. It will pass with support from the assistant Democrats in the GOP.

THIS! I am of the opinion that we should oppose EVERYTHING this administration and CONgress proposes, without exception. Even the things that seem reasonably reasonable, were there to be any. A little scorched earth politics, like the left played with Donald Trump, might help put them in a little less insane frame of mind. Give 'em a whiff of reality, so to speak...maybe also a whiff of grape!
