The NHL postponed the Ottawa Senators' next three games because of a COVID-19 outbreak, the first games this season that the league has had to postpone for COVID.
The Senators were due to travel to New Jersey to face the Devils on Tuesday before returning home for games against the Nashville Predators on Thursday and the New York Rangers on Saturday. Their next scheduled game after that is Monday, Nov. 22, at the Colorado Avalanche.
Ottawa had 10 players and assistant coach Jack Capuano test positive for COVID-19 over the past 10 days. Among the players out of the lineup are goalie Matt Murray, centers Drake Batherson and Josh Norris and defenseman Nikita Zaitsev.

Why do i post this?
1- nowhere in the article does it state if the players/coaches were vaxxed
2- if the players/coaches weren't vaxxed it would be all over the headlines
3- one month ago the NFL bragged that "all but four players in the league were vaxxed" yet now the league is cancelling games because of the CCP virus.
4- I am in the football business. A buddy in the league told me: A) vaccinated players are spreading the CCP virus in the NFL B) rumors of Aaron Rodgers taking ivermectin as a cure for the CCP virus after he was diagnosed positive are 100% true- he took the "horse goo"

Very few NHL players are unvaxed. Tyler Bertuzzi of the Redwings is one of them. He cannot travel with the team to any of the Canadian teams games.
I didn’t see anything in the ESPN article that anybody was sick just that they tested positive. Do the protocols require symptoms, or just positive test results?

I think in point 3 you meant to say NHL. On Oct 13, the NHL said all players but 4 were vaccinated. I think all other employees had to be vaccinated. Funny how this gets buried now.

Yep. I have remarked about this since last summer. A number of prominent middle aged people in apparent good health tragically dying from the virus. The stories had lots of detail about their lives, but for some reason did not mention their vax status. One was a college coach who posted positively about masks, but other clues were hard to find. Often I did searches to read other news outlet’s accounts, but in case after case, not mentioned.
I can only conclude that there is a backroom understanding that this information would not be ‘helpful’ to the vaccination campaign.

The fact that they don’t mention the status of any of the players’ leads me to believe they’re all vaccinated.
The media loves to point out if anyone isn’t vaccinated.
I saw a story recently where some comment blamed fans not wearing masks - or even having fans in the rinks - for spreading the covid flu.
This is like when there’s a story about a crooked politicians. When the the party isn’t mentioned in the headline or first paragraph, it almost invariably involves a Democrat.
Now when there are Covid outbreaks you will know it involves vaxed breakthrough cases when the vaccination status is not mentioned.
