I think you get vigilantes when people feel that the “system” is not protecting them.
If I recall the “Death Whish” movies staring Charles Bronson, “Jack Kirby” became a hero because people were not being protected from predator’s. When Jack killed a predator the witnesses cheered. Certainly, people having their businesses destroyed by mobs invited into the city by the mayor would cheer if someone shot the rioters. The politicians in Death Whish were not even as evil as the mayor of Portland, for example.
What he’s actually doing is condemning the 2nd Amendment and all gun owners.
Inciting a riot. Hmmmm. Where have we heard that before.
If the government did its job vigilantes wouldn’t but now sadly they are needed in some locations. And counter revolutionaries are needed also.
This wasn’t a trial, it was pure political theater. They probably knew all along that Kyle would walk, that wasn’t the point.
So the White House is coordinating messaging with the state prosecution?

When does this stupidity end? Pull the police out of all their neighborhoods. They’re too dumb to be protected by any agency for any reason. They are liberals living in liberal cities/neighborhoods and probably not one owns a weapon. Have fun folks when the riots come to your neck of the woods.

Watching/listening to closing rebuttal now and I think the judge and prosecutors should be found guilty and sentenced after this mess of a trial.
The judge just stopped the prosecutor because of defense objections to statements in rebuttal - jury was sent from the room. They came back in when the defense objected again and they had barely sat down when they were told to leave again.
The judge listened to the both sides again and sat absolutely silent for what seemed like 5 minutes and then said, “What was that you last said?”
I don’t know how the viewers in the courtroom can stay silent and not laugh out loud. It’s a circus and they’re getting ringside seats for free.
What a show - what a mess. Poor kid is all I can say. The jury will have to find him guilty just to keep the cities from being burned down again which is where and why this all started in WI...
Joe Biden is so far left his feet are wet in the Pacific just off the California coast. One would think he would be smart enough to keep his mouth shut but I guess not. Thid is an ongoing trial that he is trying to interfere with by making comments to influence it. What a goofball.
When a Democrat Mayor or Governor orders the police to “Stand Down” during a riot the only thing between you and impending disaster is “vigilantes” armed with “assault weapons”.
