That said, the root problem is that Europe invited in masses of barbarian “refugees” at the very instant in history when it needed to close its borders.

That’s true. The Western countries built attractive, prosperous, free societies to which everyone in the world wants to move. Russia doesn’t have that problem.
The West also suffers from a terminal case of misplaced collective guilt over historical issues. That’s a self-inflicted problem.
That's pretty much what Poland does. That is people who don't like Polish culture will not like Poland, because the Poles don't accomodate those who wish to change their culture.

We’re working on it. Actually, the illegal migrants are coming late to the party. the good times are behind usw.
They’re coming to a country that isn’t what they think it is. We are a totally different place than what we used to be not that long ago.
America used to be a great country but at our present rate of decline its rapidly becoming a nation that few will want to live in.
