In typical misleading/lying fashion, the committee is referred to as bipartisan. Well, that depends on how "bipartisan" is defined.
Every member of this committee was selected by the Democrats. The formation of the committee is afoul of house rules on committee formation. In that sense, at least (and too in substance and bias), the committee is illegitimate. The only people who will accept the results are Democrats and GOP dissidents, like Cheney.

In most banana republics, the opposition gets agitated. No so in ours, The party is opposition, isn't much in opposition.

Bannon is both smart and tough but he knows that Dems play dirty. This is the first indictment by a grand jury for contempt of Congress in more than 40 years.

It sends the message that our government picks one group to prosecute and ignores others, just like any totalitarian state.
It sends the message that any association with Donald Trump -- including, probably, voting for him -- is enough for the full weight of the Federal Leviathon to come down on a person, just like any totalitarian state.
And it also sends the message that you are 100% okay with the totalitarianism.
Bannon will get the last laugh.
Keep all your documents Kinzinger. You and Cheney (and all the other coup plotters) are going to be put on trial in 2022. You are going to pay the price for your treachery. The maximum penalty is death.
I never thought I’d be grateful to the Democrats for anything, but redistricting Kinzinger out of Congress definitely qualifies.

I think most of his “specials” played on the weekends are pre-recorded.
It might, if it was enacted fairly and equally, but when the DOJ decides to pick and choose the individuals who have rejected subpoenas to appear in front of Congress, based on politics, well then, they make a laughing stock of themselves.
