If the Democrats want to suffer catastrophic defeats in the 2022 midterms, they need to follow one simple strategy: blame all their losses on White Supremacy.
It was White Supremacists who elected Trump.
It was White Supremacists who elected Glenn Youngkin.
And it is because of White Supremacy that parents are upset with what is happening in their children’s schools. It’s all because of White Supremacy!
As long as Democratic leaders continue to misunderstand what tens of millions of Americans are thinking and why they are voting as they do, they will continue to lose elections. Not only so, but they will actually energize those who oppose the leftist agenda by insulting them and casting aspersions on their motives.
For some time now, I have been saving articles and links documenting this self-destructive Democratic pattern of seeing everything through the lens of race, from the early days of the Trump presidency until now. But to cite even the tiniest fraction of these statements and quotes would fill a good-sized book. Plus, truth to be told, you’ve almost certainly heard the accusation yourself, especially if you voted for Trump or you’re a conservative Republican.
Of course, your skin color doesn’t matter. If you’re Black and you vote Republican, you’re an Uncle Tom. Or you’re an enabler of White Supremacists.
As expressed by Professor Eric Dyson, with reference to newly elected Virginia Lt. Governor Winsome Sears, the first Black woman to hold a statewide office in Virginia, “The problem is here they want White supremacy by ventriloquist effect. There is a Black mouth moving but a White idea … running on the runway of the tongue of a figure who justifies and legitimates the White supremacist practices. We know that we can internalize in our own minds, in our own subconscious, in our own bodies the very principles that are undoing us. So to have a Black face speaking in behalf of a White supremacist legacy is nothing new.
There you have it. The people who voted in Sears, a Black immigrant from Jamaica, did so in order to “have a Black face speaking on behalf of a White supremacist legacy.” (For the record, the fact that Dyson is also Black does not for a moment minimize the extreme ugliness of this comment.)
Using the same logic, the people who also voted in Attorney General Jason Miyares, Virginia’s first-ever Latino Attorney General, himself a Cuban American, did so because they wanted a Latino face speaking on behalf of a White supremacist legacy. But of course!
The reality is that as long as Democratic leaders, strategists, thinkers, and pundits continue to believe this drivel, they will continue to be out of touch with countless millions of Americans who are anything but White Supremacists. And they will continue to insult them and drive them away.
Charles Love, himself a Black American and the author of the new book Race Crazy: BLM, 1619, and the Progressive Racism Movement, said it well: “The real takeaway from the Virginia election is that McAuliffe failed to understand the human condition: You cannot call people racist and tell them their concerns are not real and think that they will vote for you. Worse, if the Democrats continue to double down on the ‘white supremacist soccer moms,’ they will eventually help create one.
“The Virginia election was less a win for Republicans than a rejection of Democrats and, if they're smart, a wakeup call. If they don't realize they have to listen to what voters are saying rather than telling them what is best for them—or calling them racist—they will continue to see results like this.”
Love was also right to draw attention to parents being upset with radical sex-ed and LGBTQ themed curricula and agendas flooding their schools, resulting in the rape of a Virginia teen by a boy wearing a skirt – in her own school bathroom, conveniently swept under the rug by the local school board. Was their outrage a matter of White Supremacy as well?
And is our disgust with the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan a matter of White Supremacy? Or our concern with the government’s COVID policies? Or our dismay at the rising cost of living? Is this all because of White Supremacy?
And was it White Supremacists in Minneapolis, the very city where George Floyd was killed, who carried the vote against defunding the police? (How long will it be before newly elected New York City Mayor Eric Adams will be labeled the new Black face for White Supremacy if he implements his law-and-order promises? Already, BLM is promising him hell to pay if he does.)
The more the Democrats believe these lies, the more certain will be their defeat. And, as a negative consequence, where racism and White Supremacism do exist, there will be no effective way to address it, as the left has been painting with much too broad a brush.
That being said, do I expect a change in strategy from the left? Actually, I do not. That’s because they truly believe what they are saying. That is the saddest part of all.
They don’t need any advice. They are doing beautifully on their own.
Don’t worry. I’m confident that congressional Republicans will do everything in their power to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
keep handing out free money to everyone and making it hard to drill and transport gas = massive inflation = massive loss next year for them.
The author assumes logic has any meaning in elections.
“Don’t worry. I’m confident that congressional Republicans will do everything in their power to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.”
My time in watching the GOP tells me even if they win, convincingly, they will cower as if they are a minority and agree to most of what Dems want.
My belief is that the Democrats are perfectly willing to give up control of Congress in 2022 in exchange for even a skinny Build Back Better piece of legislation. Republicans cannot repeal ObamaCare, why would we expect them to repeal BBB?
They say the guilty ones often project. So as long as the Democrats continue down this path, one must think they are only projecting the conditions of their own hearts
Yep. a little over a week ago they gave Biden and Pelosi a much needed win while allowing AOC and the Squad to save face. And this was on the heels of a massive victory for the GOP on the previous Tuesday's elections.
Thirteen of them said, "We won a little too much! Let's let the other side score a few points to make them feel better."
This is the GOP.
Congressmen such as Chris Smith have become bums. Tragic transformations occur in Washington.
If elections were fair, then the Democrats would get smoked.
This is why they are so against voter ID, more days to vote and for anyone mailing votes without checking IDs.
In other words, the only way Democrats can win is by lying, cheating and stealing. Which is the hallmarks of that criminal enterprise we know as the Democrat party.
Can someone explain to me this obsession among Black Power activists with "bodies?"
Regards,
............there are 52 cards in a deck of cards and the marxist dems have used up 51. “White Supremacy” is not a card the dummy dems want to play it’s all they have left!
Just like the ONLY Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates they could find to run are knee pads Harris and brain dead Joe.
Arguably, Joe and Kamala are doing America a favor by highlighting to Americans just how bankrupt the democratic criminal organization is.
Please don’t tell them.

The two major political elements in play over the past year are closely intertwined. Those are the new left-wing blatancy, in which the American Left scarcely attempts to hide its actual agenda anymore, and the vast number of enemies the left is lining up against itself throughout American society.
In hindsight, this makes perfect sense. How could the Left hope to maintain the support of the mass of Americans once its actual goals and methods became evident? In the past, leftists made a serious effort to shield their true agenda from scrutiny using a wide range of methods – wrapping itself in a veil of “compassion,” claiming that all opposition arose from throwback “right-wingers,” and using the most ignorant and ill-informed members of the public (teenagers and suburban matrons) to spearhead its public-influence campaigns. Overall control of the media rendered this strategy workable.
But as of 2021, that appears to have gone by the board. Instead of hiding their goals or even sugar-coating them, the left is shouting them through bullhorns: you’re not going to get Christmas. Get the jab or starve. We’re turning your kids over to the tender mercies of sexual deviants. Get ready for the Jihadi terrorists coming to your neighborhood.
It’s as if the Bolsheviks spent all of 1917 racing from village to village telling the peasants, “When we take over, you’re all being sent to Siberia. Yippee!”
Why is this happening? It can be attributed to arrogance, stupidity, historical blindness, or any other factor you’d care to name. That doesn’t matter. What does matter is that it is happening, and is, by its very nature, one of those things that can’t be unhappened once it does.

No!
Moderating is what will lose them the election! Don’t listen to people like this all you Democrats! AOC and her crew will show you the way!
Remember how the Republicans seem to lose when they try to get along with you? Your base will react the same if you moderate.
Trust me. Would I lie?

If you want to win, follow the Trump model - identify the issues people care most about and offer simple, commonsense solutions based on traditional American values. If you’re a democrat - do just the opposite.
You are so right. There will always be Republicans who side/vote with the Democrats.
Or better yet, follow the Glenn Youngkin model. Run on Trump's MAGA populism but repackaged in a nice guy wearing a sweater vest without the reality show baggage. Retain Trump's MAGA voters but reach out and bring home the squishy suburban middle that left him.
Oh, and employ an army of volunteers to serve as poll watchers.
