Whoever, individually or collectively, is responsible for this situation, it’s certainly not the Mayor of London, who has zero authority or jurisdiction on the issue. As for the Channel Tunnel, the majority of if the illicit crossings are now by small boat rather than truck stowaways, partly because of significantly improved security at the Calais truck terminal (both for the ferries and the tunnel rail shuttle) following the multi-fatality Vietnamese stowaway case, and partly because of the reduction in the volume of cross-channel truck traffic. That in turn is the effect partly of Brexit and partly the widespread supply chain/truck driver problems.

The UK was lost a while ago, as is France, Germany. They allowed the Muslim hoards to enter unfettered. I will never visit these countries again, or Europe for that matter.

Sadiq Khan was born a Sunni Muslim and just as Zhou Bidet over here in America SIGNALS the re-opening of our southern border (watch the news for THAT one), so too does Khan signal the OK to migrate to England.
I’m unclear what form this ‘signalling’ takes, or who exactly it is that notices it. The political significance and influence of the London mayoralty (whoever happens to be in the office) does tend to be grossly overestimated by US observers. The mayor’s powers are very significantly less than those of the mayor of a large US city. And in any case, recent immigration patterns were established well before Khan took office.
IMO ... considering the influx of Muslims into England, having a Muslim mayor IS a signal and a green light that ... England is an OK place to migrate to.
The proportion of would-be UK migrants pitching up in Calais (many of whom, incidentally, aren’t muslim) who have ever even heard of Sadiq Khan is, I suspect, vanishingly small.
