“People are outraged” has kind of lost all meaning. “People are outraged” is more like a constant now. You wake up and drink your coffee while watching media types being outraged, or reporting on same. You go to your job, and dollars to donuts SOMEBODY is going to be outraged about something, it just stands to reason. “People being outraged” is just a new, if rather unhealthy, normal.

Looks like they Fact Checked not the Judge but some dude posting on FaceBook.
Apparently there are not 200,000 containers waiting at Long Beach. (The 200,000 are at The Port of Los Angeles.)
On a side note; each container ship typically holds 21,000+ 20’ cargo containers. That would be 10,500 40’ containers for our friends at USA Today.

That isn’t racial at all. It is about a type of food. Race has nothing to do with that comment.

I shop Aldi quite a bit. I’ve never encountered Chinese made products and I read labels. I love all of their chocolates made in Germany and cheeses from around the world. My latest buy was an assortment of fruit spreads for cheeses, think fig and honey, cherries and rosemary. All are made in Belgium.
Aldi is based in Germany so they carry a lot of European products at very good prices.

I read that about the shipping containers, too. It says 108 ships are waiting, and those big container ships carry 20,000 Twenty-Foot-Equivalents, or about 10,000 semi-full loads. If USA Today could do the math, that’s over a million semis-worth of containers. I guess they’re right - 200,000 containers is false, because it’s closer to a million. Then again, I could be wrong. Maybe most of those ships are really small and can only carry a few thousand TFEs.

If burning down the city of Kenosha doesn't make you mad, but a judge joking about Asian food being hold up in cargo ports makes you furious ... you might be a Democrat.
And it's hard to take you seriously.

Many believe the quip, which was an attempt at a joke, was inappropriate. How many, who are they, and why should we care? Is it possible that they are the same ones that want a conviction?

A joke about slow food delivery is not a “racial comment”. Food doesn’t have a “race”.
